NOTICE OF CONGESTION MITIGATION & AIR QUALITY IMPROVEMENT FUNDS

The Rock Hill-Fort Mill Area Transportation Study (RFATS) is accepting applications for the 2022-2023 CMAQ Funding Cycle. 

Projects eligible for this federally-funded program must relate to the area transportation system and may include:
• Congestion Reduction & Travel Flow Improvements
• Travel Demand Management
• Public Transit Initiatives

Representative samples of projects not eligible for this program include:
• Projects That Add New Capacity For SOV Travel
• Routine Maintenance And Rehabilitation Projects
• Light-Duty Vehicle Scrappage Programs

Projects must meet applicable state and federal Congestion Mitigation & Air Quality Improvement Program guidelines as well as the criteria adopted by the RFATS Policy Committee. Applicants will also be expected to provide matching funds (20%) and letters of support from the applicable local jurisdiction (e.g. municipality or county).

Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on April 7, 2022 at the City of Rock Hill, Planning & Development Services Department, Suite 300, 155 Johnston Street, P.O. Box 11706, Rock Hill, S.C. 29731-1706.

NOTICE OF TRANSPORTATION ALTERNATIVES FUNDS

The Rock Hill-Fort Mill Area Transportation Study (RFATS) is accepting applications for the 2022-2023 TAP Funding Cycle.

Projects eligible for this federally-funded program must relate to the area transportation system and may include:
• Pedestrian Facilities
• Bicycle Facilities
• Pedestrian Improvement Projects

Projects must meet applicable state and federal Transportation Alternatives Program guidelines as well as the criteria adopted by the RFATS Policy Committee. Applicants will also be expected to provide matching funds (20%) and letters of support from the applicable local jurisdiction (e.g. municipality or county).
